Best Menswear are proud that many of our suppliers are members of the Better Cotton Initiative. The Better Cotton Initiative is the largest cotton sustainability programme in the world that trains farmers to use water efficiently, care for soil health and natural habitats, reduce use of the most harmful chemicals and respect workers’ rights and well-being. With the overall aim of transforming cotton production worldwide, BCI works with key stakeholders worldwide to transform the cotton supply chain. While Better Cotton is not physically traceable to end products, BCI Farmers benefit from the demand for Better Cotton.

Sustainable fashion is also about fair trade, caring for people who make our products, ensuring they are paid a fair price and have safe and decent working conditions.

Sustainable clothes are made to last, in quality as well as in style so that people wear them for longer.

We also commit to working responsibly to reduce our environmental footprint across all of our stores and head office. Under Ireland’s REPAK Plastics Pledge we commit to eliminating all avoidable single use plastic packaging and shifting to low impact alternatives by end 2024. We work with suppliers to reduce the amount of packaging and consumables across our stores and the supply chain.
